Discussion:
The image shows Max Klinger sitting in his large studio room in front of his famous painting "Die Kreuzigung Christi" (today in Museum der Bildenden Künste, Leipzig). His marble sculpture "Amphitrite" (1895) can be seen in the left corner, on the right is "Badendes Mädchen" (1897).
